Family travel is a lifestyle choice for which we go the extra mile, such that we live and breathe it every single day.
We’d much rather see you spend quality time with your loved-ones instead of spending time behind your screen to take care of time-consuming travel logistics. This is why we organise well-deserved family holidays for parents on-the-go and select destinations of which we know for sure that they will offer your family a fabulous time together… in nature.

Managing Director – family travel planner, reviewer & hospitality consultant
“A turning point in my life came 10 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a blessing in disguise. At the time, I was running a successful design agency, but cancer made me understand what my true priorities are, and made me want to spend more time on what is really important to me – my children, nature and travel.
Starting Kids of Nature 6 years ago was how I decided to honour my priorities. As the main focus of my job is family travel and mindful living for families, my children – who are being homeschooled – come with me on nearly all my trips. We‘re always keen to try out exciting new adventures, as well as meeting like-minded people. My family comes first, and I’m passionate about helping other families to spend more quality time together in nature. I’m often asked where the good holiday destinations are, so here we are … only a click away…”
Junior Explorers James & Enya Godard
Citizens of the World – hands-on destination reviewers
Enya & James travel regularly to explore extraordinary places and projects and meet fascinating people. By sharing their discoveries they hope to inspire other young people to follow in their footsteps and make a difference by caring for our beautiful planet. And, as the saying goes, ‘The proof is in the eating of the pudding’, so if Enya and James put their stamp of approval on a destination, we can rest assured that it works for young people.

Coaching & experiences inspired by nature
As a child, she grew up at the bottom of the garden … exploring, catching frogs, following butterfly life-cycles, building bamboo shelters, and waiting for fairies to emerge from a hollow tree. Nature has always felt like home to Alice, a place where she can play, retreat, restore, rejoice.
Her twin passions – nature and education – led her to the field of environmental education, her career for 25 years, including Kirstenbosch Gardens as head of education. In 1999 she started her own business, EnviroEds, and developed and evaluated numerous education programmes and teaching materials focusing on environmental care.”
Alice joined Kids of Nature to inspire families to benefit more from nature.
